How To Order

Here you will find detailed information on how to send us your materials for scanning, conversion, or a slideshow. This is the basic order process:

Choose Images to send => Contact Us for a Quote => Ship => Pay => Enjoy

Step 1: Read about how to choose a scan resolution and processing options to become familiar with what is available. Then you can select a scan resolution and processing options for your order.

Step 2a: Begin sorting your slides. It's up to you how you wish to sort and organize your slides, if at all. We have found that the easiest way to sort slides is to go through them using a projector or viewer. Take your time when sorting! Dark slides will result in dark scans, light slides result in bright scans, and out of focus slides will result in out of focus scans. Keep this in mind when sorting.

Step 2b: (Optional) If you want your slides in a particular order please number the slide mounts using a felt tip pen. Every slide should have a different number! If they are not numbered they probably will not be in the order you wanted. You only need to number your slides if you care about the order.

Step 2c: (Optional) Each pile can correspond to a folder on the computer. So if you would also like your slides to be organized in special folders please mark each pile with a particular folder number. Also provide us with a printed list with the particular folder names you want. For example, if you label "Folder #1" on a wrapped pile of slides then "Folder #1 = Name of folder you want" needs to be on your printed list.

Step 3: Contact us for a quote. Tell us about your project using our simple quote request form. We will respond within one business day with your quote and give you detailed shipping and payment instructions. During normal business hours (Monday-Friday 9AM-5:30PM CST) quotes are usually replied to within 1-2 hours, but we may also reply outside of normal business hours.
